Final Pitch/Treatment

For my final I will be producing "The Adventures of Krispy & Koonts". A tale based off of my two friends antics and character traits. Krispy is a fun-loving fellow that won't stop quoting Gucci Mane. Koonts is a bearded man-child with an affinity for chicken.
When their plane crashes and lands in the midst of a lively jungle (ala LOST) somewhere in Africa, the two must stick together to survive the harsh wilderness, or die alone. They must traverse the jungle together to find civilization once again.
From Gucci onomatopoeias to humble Jurassic Park whistling, the fun will never end. Krispy claims there better not be any velociraptors or he's had it. First the two encounter a ferocious tiger, which Koonts believes is a panther, but Krispy corrects him and resloves that it is indeed a Cheetah. Krispy sends Koonts to deal with it b/c he has "bigger thighs…more leverage." Koonts agrees and fights the animal. The next shot shows the two cooking slabs of meat on a fire. Krispy expresses how delightful it is but asks Koonts what he did with his fat. Koonts replies squarely: "What fat?"
The two are now moving on, and krispy comments how bored he is. koonts pulls a rubix cube out of his pocket and hands it to Krispy who replies "Give me a cave and a thousand years and I will never get this." Wondering if there's a faster way to travel, they spot a monkey swinging from a vine and decide to try. Both triumphantly start to swing but fall flat on the ground. They land in a clearing in which a giant eagle/hawk/bird picks them to take to its nest. Mid-flight Krispy tries to figure a way out then notices that Koonts looks hungrily at the bird holding him. Krispy yells "Koonts NO! its not a chicken!" but its too late. Koonts bites into the chicken and the bird spirals to earth. Krispy follows suit to catch back up with koonts. The two land softly on giant mushrooms.
They start to walk again, finding a hill, down which is an African village. They cheer in delight, but then Koonts is swooped away by a velociraptor to which Krispy replies "Damnit!" and slowly walks in the direction that Koonts was taken. "This is not Gucci Koonts."

I want to do the animations in the style of "Taintsmouth"…I don't particularly know the name of that style, but I assume I will mostly be using after effects. I will also use the 3D camera in AE for the reaction shot of the two seeing the tiger, as well as for the birds possibly.

6x1 Excursion- He Can Dance

Yet another excursion into 6x1. Here was Beav's venture into the rhythmic edit. He filmed me dancing in random places in Wilmington inculding the girls' softball game, the roof of a beach house, and with the local celebrity: The Little Caesar's Roadside Dance Guy... Enjoy.

The End animation to my salsa bumper

Roto Finale

Here is the final outcome of my rotoscope project. My sentence that I was randomly assigned and had to animate was "He did the only thing he could... he pushed over a midget with the Force."

The Salsa Roto image

This is basically the outline of what I'll rotoscope. As you can see, I decided to add some Hispanic flavor to my characters... Notice the cheesy mustaches for example.

The beginning of rotoscoping on the Salsa Bumper

For the quick film bumper that I will be creating for the CS Film Festival (this year themed as: The Chips And Salsa Festival) I will rotoscope overtop of my two friends performing a Spanish rap written by myself. There will also be several other animations spliced into sections. This is the first raw image.

The Gif Animation Project

The following posts are all Gif Animations. They were created through Photoshop, and are basically just several similar images moving in rapid succession. I drew the images with pencil then uploaded them to the computer. They show my friend Koonts doing what he does best...eat chicken.
